The Montblanc Star Legacy Chronograph Limited Edition of 1786 pieces pays tribute to the intrepid Jacques Balmat who was the first to reach the summit of the Mont Blanc in 1786. The timepiece presents a burgundy tone glacier patterned dial with a sfumato effect around the outside, a rack minuterie and rose gold-coated numerals. The indications include a central chronograph seconds hand with Montblanc emblem on the counterweight and a 30-minute chronograph counter with rhodium-coated hands, while the timekeeping functions – hours, minutes, and small seconds – feature rose-gold-coated hands. This model is powered by the MB 24.31 automatic movement and is housed in a 42 mm stainless steel case with an open case back on the movement. The timepiece comes with an interchangeable calf leather strap with an alligator print and vertical sfumato.
